I've blogged for The Washington Times (Aviation Security), and have been on CNN.com as the leading story (and AC-360), as well as CBS (Miami & Chicago) and Fox (Tampa) for other stories. I've worked as a security contractor for the U.S.-led 'Roadmap to Mideast Peace' in Israel and Palestine. I've also worked as a SWAT team leader and undercover Federal Air Marshal. My master's degree is in Military Studies and terrorism, with a concentration in special operations. I've lectured on topics from school shootings to identifying suicidal terrorists. I served as an officer in Iraq with the U.S. Army Reserves (2007-08). I've been Scuba diving and skydiving. I've trained with members of the U.S. Olympic Ski Team, and have led horseback riding trips in Colorado. I'm a professionally-trained driver. I'm a FBI-trained crisis negotiator, and my wife and I have five kids and two dogs.

Yes! One of my favorite hymns. I wish they hadn't taken it out of the hymn books. (Note: it's actually BYU combined choirs). I hope you and your family are doing well.
